Abyo\'s Broken Leg

"Abyo's Leg Surgery"

​​​​​​​Abyo is a domestic short hair tomcat. Unfortunately while roughhousing with his litter mates he may have landed awkwardly and injured his left hind leg. His owners brought him to the clinic where radiographs revealed an oblique fracture of his tibia.

Surgery was opted for to repair. We used stainless steel implants (cerclarge wire) to secure both fragments. Hopefully, with some much-needed rest, Abyo would be on his way to a speedy recovery.
